PURPOSE: An automatic teller machine is provided to use a driving force for transferring bill for withdrawing the bill in a bill cassette. CONSTITUTION: An automatic teller machine includes:a paper money box(130) possibly removed for storing bill; a driving source supplying a driving force for transferring the paper money; a paper money separating unit(140) formed being separated from the paper money box and driven selectively by the driving source for discharging the paper money in the paper money box one by one; and a paper money transferring unit separated from the paper money separating unit for discharging the transferred paper money after transferring to a linear route.
