PURPOSE: Since sound signals controlled in a sound card of PCs and audio controls controlling a sound amplifier in monitors are not interactive with the PCs the monitors perfectly, the error and the sound of both right and left speakers are not in an excellent condition. CONSTITUTION: When the system starts to update data between the PC and the monitor(S30), the monitor transmits a start signal to PC by performing order(S31). After start signal is transmitted, the PC searches the order that is transmitted(S32). After competing the search, the monitor transmits data about the order by user's input to PC and the PC compares them with primarily stored data(S33). It checks for errors using a checksum that is the result of comparing figures which are transmitted to monitor and primarily stored data which(S34). If an error occurs, its returns to step S32. If there are no errors the monitor transmits an end signal to the PC(S35). Using this method, the audio between the PC and monitor can be controlled simultaneously. Control from the audio software in PC is indicated in the On Screen Display(OSD) on the monitor and the performance of monitor audio control is in PC. Audio is controlled by mutual data transmissions between PC and monitor processes as well.
