PURPOSE: A tape carrier package (TCP) mounting tool is to form a plurality of impurity collection hole and collect the impurity for previously preventing a breakage of a LCD panel. CONSTITUTION: A TCP mounting tool comprises: a backup stage (20) for aligning TCPs (4) on which a driving IC is mounted and supporting one side of a LCD panel (3) loaded by XY driving axes (30); a thermal compression head (10) to be installed on an upper portion of the backup stage (20) for corresponding TCPs (4) and be driven by an operation of a cylinder (14) for performing a thermal compression of TCPs (4); and a plurality of collection hole (23) for collecting an impurity to be deposited to a supporting surface. Therefore, the breakage of the LCD panel is previously prevented. |
