PANEL PLASTIC CASTING APPARATUS FOR CATHODE RAY TUBE

PURPOSE: The apparatus can block the cooling water flowing into the inner side of a nose part(25) of a plunger(9) and also can increase the production effectiveness because of low breakdown rate due to the heat. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus has a bottom mold(3) having a plastic casting plane forming an outer surface of a cathode ray tube panel(1), and has the funnel-shaped plunger having a plastic casting plane forming an inner wall surface of the cathode ray tube panel. The apparatus comprises: a pipe accommodation part formed along the axis line of the plunger inside the plunger; a cooling air pipe which supplies and withdraws the cooling air, being accommodated in the pipe accommodation part; and a metallic sealing intervened between the bottom part of the cooling air pipe and the inner wall surface of the pipe accommodation part.
