V5.2 INTERFACE DEVICE IN FULL ELECTRONIC SWITCHING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A device is provided to interface using a V5.2 interface protocol between various access networks accepting PSTN/ISDN subscribers of a remote place and a full electronic switching system. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises: a V5.2 E1 link matching unit(251) to perform a class 1 function and a class 2 function of a V5.2 protocol by interfacing by an access network and a physical E1 link; a main process unit(253) to manage a national protocol entity and a bearer channel allotment among a class 3 function of the V5.2 protocol; a telephony process unit(254) to interface between a class 3 message and the main process unit(253).
