PURPOSE: A method of aging an incandescent subminiature lamp is provided to improve vibration and impact resistance characteristics of a filament. CONSTITUTION: A method of aging an incandescent subminiature lamp comprises the steps of: performing a first aging process for loading flickeringly a first current corresponding to less than 25% of a regular current to a lamp; performing a second aging process for loading flickeringly a second current corresponding to less than 35% of the regular current to the lamp; and performing a third aging process for loading flickeringly a third current corresponding to less than 50% of the regular current to the lamp. Through the multiple aging process, vibration and impact resistance characteristics are improved in opposition to an external vibration and an impact.
