PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an incubator capable of preventing various germs in the interior of a chamber from multiplicating and reducing labors of cleaning and sterilizing treatment of the interior. SOLUTION: This incubator 1 is obtained by installing a nozzle 51 for sprinkling a sterilizing agent or a wash liquid in the interior of a chamber 2 and an ultraviolet germicidal lamp 60 for performing the sterilization with ultraviolet rays as treating means for carrying out the treatment of sterilization or washing of the interior of the chamber 2 in the incubator 1 capable of controlling environmental conditions in the chamber 2 with an environmental controller 13 and having a carrying part 4 provided with many rotating shelves 21 for carrying microplates in the interior of the chamber 2. Thereby, the sterilization and washing treatments of the interior of the chamber 2 can be automated and simply performed and the sterilization and washing can be carried out with a moderate frequency to prevent various germs from multiplicating. |
