PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make relatively a picture bright by constituting a multi-viewpoint three-dimensional video display device so as to form a visual area on a fixed position in a space. SOLUTION: This device contains an illumination light source 1, a shutter plate 2 selectively transmitting through or shutting off a light beam made incident from the illumination light source, a diffusion plate 3 having substantially the same size as the shutter plate 2, arranged in front of it and uniformly diffusing the light beam transmitting through the shutter plate, an optical element 4 arranged on an optical path in front of the diffusion plate 3 and forming a visual area and a transparent type video display plate 5 having substantially the same size as the optical element 4, arranged in front of it and displaying a multi-viewpoint video and is constituted so that the multi-viewpoint video is displayed by a time multiplexing system, and the visual area is formed on a fixed position in front of the transparent type video display plate 5. |
