PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure in which passage resistance of a gas stream with respect to a louver is reduced to improve performance of a heat exchanger. SOLUTION: When each louver 2 is assumed to be a blade type, the angle of incidence of a louver 2 with respect to a main fluidization direction 9 is set substantially zero, so that a gas stream 8 passing through a heat exchanger is prevented from being bent. Thus, passage resistance of the gas is reduced to increase a flow rate of gas passage for heat exchange. Further, the louvers 2 are arranged in a zig-zag manner each other along the main fluidization direction 9 of the gas, and an upper and lower uniform boundarw lower is formed from a square front edge portion of each louver 2 so that a lower stream louver for preventing such a boundary layer from being developed can be properly disposed and hence an average heat transfer rate of a fin itself can be improved. The louver 2 is adapted to extend along the gas stream 8, so that the length 10 of the louver 2 can be shortened and hence a thin boundary layer is formed.
