PURPOSE: An auto reverse device of cassette tape and method thereof is provided to give convenience to user and improve the life of a tape because the music on rear face of a tape can be heard right after the music on front face is ended though required tape is inserted in any direction toward a cassette deck. CONSTITUTION: The present invention discloses an auto reverse device of cassette tape comprising: a head(10) contacted to a cassette tape; an AMSIC(20) finding, repeating or scanning required music among the tape contacted to said head; a micom(30) receiving the data transmitted from said AMSIC and deciding whether they are in a blank section or a music section; and a logic deck(40) displaying the state of the data transmitted from said micom.
