RECOMBINANT VECTOR AND TRANSFORMATED BODY CONTAINING ELASTASE INHIBITOR GENE ISOLATED FROM KOREAN BLOODSTUCK SP. LEECH

摘要

PURPOSE: An amino acid peptide extracted from Korean leech named Guamerin which has higher inhibition capacity and elastase-specificity than any other elastase inhibitor, its recombinant vector, and transformed yeast(Pichia pastoris) are provided. CONSTITUTION: Gaumerin extracted from natural leech are not adequate to mass production, so genes of Gaumerin are extracted from leech's cDNA library. Next process is consisted of following steps of: Sequencing Gaumerin bases; Constructing recombinant vector to fit to Pichia pastoris's excretion system by using this genes; Inserting genes of Gaumerin to Pichia pastoris's chromosomes; Selecting permanent Gaumerin-expressive fungi.
