PURPOSE: A lid opening device of an electric pressure rice cooker is provided to improve an opening power to the lid when opening the lid after the rice is boiled by improving the structure of the lid. CONSTITUTION: The lid opening device of an electric pressure rice cooker has an outer case, an outer cover(21), an inner cover(22) and an elastic means(100). The outer case constitutes a body. The outer cover(21) constitutes the lid and rotary hinge engaged to the outer case. The inner cover(22) is selectively locked to and unlocked from the outer case. The elastic means(100) is located between the outer case and the inner cover(22). Thus, the lid is biased by the elastic means(100) when the inner cover(22) is locked to the outer case. The lid is forced by a restitution force when the inner cover(22) is unlocked from the outer case.
