PURPOSE: A horizontal deflection signal adjusting device is provided to operate automatically without a switch operation of a user. CONSTITUTION: The horizontal deflection signal adjusting device comprises: an amplification part(21) which generates a horizontal deflection signal to be applied to a horizontal deflection coil of a cathode ray tube according to an inputted horizontal driving signal and an applied power supply voltage; a frequency detecting part(25) which generates data corresponding to a frequency of the horizontal driving signal; a current detecting part(26) which generates data of a value of current flowing from a supply part of the power supply voltage to the amplification part; and a control part(23) which adjusts a capacitance between an output terminal of the amplification part and a ground terminal according to both the frequency and the data from the current detecting part.
