PURPOSE: Sustained driving device is to be provided which uses the least electricity on plasma display panel, which consumes up much electricity. CONSTITUTION: The device has the first and the second electrodes on the display panel, and supplies a voltage of at least 2 states for the electrodes. The device has the first and the second power supply which provide power for a recharger and the sustained electrode, the first switch which controls signal pass for recharging by being connected between the sustained electrode and a ground point, the second switch which controls signal pass for discharging by being connected between the sustained electrode and a ground point, and the third switch which controls signal pass for recharging and discharging by being connected between the sustained electrode and a ground point. The second power supply provides lower sustain voltage than the first power supply, reducing the consuming of power by providing power in two steps to the sustained electrode.
