The additional use of a fluid used in equipment(4-9) for powering a working system(10,11) in a machining centre is claimed, especially for cooling a spindle unit(1) of the machining centre used to hold tools for machining wood or wood-based materials, plastics or metals. The spindle unit(1) is connected to a fluid circuit of the equipment(4-9) enabling the working fluid to simultaneously operate the working system(10,11) and cool the spindle unit(1). Also claimed is a machining centre which includes one or more cooled spindle units(1) connected to the fluid circuit incorporating the equipment(4-9) for driving the working system(10-11). |
