PURPOSE: A boiling method for an electric pressure cooker is provided to forcibly lower an inner pressure of the oven for a certain period for boiling a cooking material in a relatively low temperature and for convecting the water smoothly while boiling the cooking material to completely agitate the cooking material. CONSTITUTION: A boiling method for an electric pressure cooker includes:a step for detecting the upper unit temperature of an oven(103) being continuously heated after completing a heating process for comparing the detected temperature value with a pre-inputted established temperature value; a step for opening a pipe passage of a solenoid valve pipe(208) by a solenoid(210) for forcibly discharging a high temperature vapor being inside in case of the same or higher detected temperature value than the established temperature; and detecting the upper temperature of the oven for comparing the detected temperature value with the pre-inputted established temperature value.
