PURPOSE: A magnetic head apparatus is to generate a magnetic flux to an optical recording media such as a magnetic disk or an optical magnetic disk, to record information and to reproduce the information. CONSTITUTION: A magnetic head apparatus comprises: a head core(12) of which a size of a lower portion is small than the size of a upper portion, wherein the head core(12) includes a neck unit(12a) on which a coil(14) is wound up, and a head unit(12b) extended from the neck unit(12a), and wherein the head unit(12b) provides a magnetic flux to an object track of the disk(1); a coil(14) of which head core(12) is wound up. Since the magnetic flux is concentrated to the recording media, the magnetic head apparatus is suitable for a vertical magnetic recording method.
