PURPOSE: A purifying operation control unit is provided to keep a room in a pleasant state even though the pollution degree is higher than usual while the initial purifying driving. CONSTITUTION: The purifying operation control unit comprises:an indoor pollution degree sensing device(106) sensing the pollution degree of indoor air; a memory made by EEPROM; and a control device(104) storing the average value of a present indoor air pollution degree and a prior standard value, as a standard value when the purifying work starts, in the memory.
