PURPOSE: An operating device of a magnetic header is provided to prevent an error caused at reading data by closely contacting a header of a card reader with a magnetic line. CONSTITUTION: The operating device of a magnetic header used in a card reader comprises: a header for reading data recorded to a card; a head support member(30) having a head supporting part and openings formed at right and left sides, wherein a header(70) is inserted in the head supporting member(30) so as to be fixed; a fixed member(10) having male screws each inserted to the openings(31, 32); two springs(40, 50) inserted to the male screws(20) of the fixed member(10); and assembling screws(60) connected with the male screws(20) which are inserted to the springs(40, 50), respectively.
