(A) Cpds. (I) R = (1-10C)Oalkyl, Ph or p-F.C6H4-, at posn. 5(6) (B) Salts of I. Anthelmintics. Dose 5-125 mg/kg. X = hal, OH, NH2, Oacyl, Oalkyl, Oaryl, SO3 aryl, or SO3 alkyl. Alt. the reaction can be carried out with a 2-25-fold excess of acylating reagent, at 75 deg.-reflux.
