The invention concerns a wiper blade comprising a linking portion (10) for mounting it on the end of a wiper (18) arm (16), wherein the linking portion (10) comprises two substantially longitudinal and parallel lateral flanges (14), and a transverse element (44) extending between the two flanges (14) and which is designed to co-operate with catching means (40) for mounting the blade (12) on the arm (18). The invention is characterised in that the transverse element (44) is produced by material continuity with the wiper (12) linking portion (10).
