OPHTHALMIC COMPOSITIONS FOR TREATING OCULAR HYPERTENSION

Combinations of a prostaglandin, prostaglandin derivative, a hypotensive lip id derived from a prostaglandin or prostaglandin derivative or an ophthalmologically acceptable salt thereof, a .beta.-adrenergic antagonist o r an ophthalmologically acceptable salt thereof and a topical carbonic anhydra se inhibitor or an ophthalmologically acceptable salt thereof are particularly useful in the treatment of ocular hypertension and glaucoma. The combination s are characterized by an improved effect and reduced side-effects.
