Two-part rod-end hinged fitting joins rods forming tent structure to remain on rods on disassembly, speeding subsequent re-assembly

A fixture joins two rods forming part of a frame. The fixture consists of two hinged parts (1, 2), male and female which are inserted into the ends of the two rods in question where they remain linked in both the erect or disassembled condition. The two components can effect the union between the two rods either in a straight line join, or at an angle.
