The pesticidal compositions of the present invention, which contain microencapsulated (E)-N<1>-[ (6-chloro-3- pyridyl) methyl]- N<2>-cyano- N<1>-methyl- acetamidine or 1-(tetrahydrofuran-3-yl) methyl-3-methyl-2- nitroguanidine as an active ingredient, can attain the effective control of various pests including wood-infesting pests for a long period.
