<p>There is disclosed a method for forming rubber objects comprising the steps of: providing a polymeric precursor which is substantially viscous at room temperature; mixing said polymeric precursor with rubber particles, the mixing being performed at an elevated temperature sufficient to reduce viscosity of the polymeric precursor such that homogeneous mixing of the polymeric precursor and rubber particles is achieved; cooling the mixture; cold forming the mixture into a desired shape; and allowing the polymeric precursor in the formed mixture to polymerise.</p> |
