PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the degradation of communication quality even when abnormality is caused in a reception system. SOLUTION: In this diversity receiver for synthesizing reception data D1-D4 from the plural reception systems by weight indicated by weighting signals W1-W4, when an error rate detection part 35 detects that the frame error rate of one of the reception data D1-D4 is more than a fixed rate, a diversity preprocessing part 30 judges that the reception system whose ratio to the one of the maximum value among the weighting signals is less than the fixed rate is a fault and turns the weighting signal of the reception system to '0'. Thus, the reception data including noise of the fault reception system are not used at the time of synthesis and the degradation of the communication quality does not occur. |
