<p>The invention concerns a method for preparing dihydrate potassium salt of 2-[[4-(2- chlorophenyl)-2- thiazolyl] carbamoyl] indole-1- acetic acid by reacting 2-[[4-(2- chlorophenyl)-2- thiazolyl] carbamoyl] indole-1- acetic acid or its C1-C4 alkyl esters with potassium carbonate in a biphasic solvent system consisting of a mixture of water and a organic solvent hardly miscible with water, optionally re-crystallising the precipitated intermediate solvate and the resulting dihydrate potassium salt.</p> |
