A lamp, especially a film, television or photography lamp, has a housing (2) in which one or more fluorescent tubes (5) and reflectors for them are accommodated. The housing has a cross-section which allows a sequential array of several such lamps. Connecting devices (6-10) are provided which allow a holding-together of the housings in a sequential array. The housing has a rectangular cross-section. The connecting devices have catch devices arranged on the sides of the housing and reaching into each other with the sequential arrays of several housings. The connecting devices on the one side of the housing have a hook rail (10) and on the opposite side a web (9).
