To connect the waste water outflow from a house to the communal sewage system, the trench (28) for the house outflow is opened at least partially, and a passage is drilled towards the nominal position of the branch connection of the sewage pipe (24), before it is laid. The passage drilling is continued until it is close to the edge of the projected or partially opened sewage pipe trench (20), and the piping for the house outflow channel (26) is advanced through the passage during drilling, for most of its length. On reaching the junction (14), the sewage pipe section is removed to be replaced with a junction section. The connections are sealed, and the opened section of the trench (20) is filled in, to cover the junction point (14).
