The slim operating head (1) is fixed to the comparatively slim cylinder assembly (20) by a conical piece (21). The first of several cup-shaped cylinder chambers (22a-d) is assembled onto a groove and subsequent chambers are assembled inline. Each chamber contains a piston (13a-d) which is fastened onto a hollow shaft (11) which runs through sealed (15) apertures (16) in the bottoms of the piston cups. Two air pressure lines (33,34) are connected respectively to air inlet and outlet apertures (27,26) on either side of the pistons.
