The invention concerns an acrylamide or acrylamide derivative and trialkylammonium salt copolymer capable of being obtained by radical copolymerisation, in the presence of an initiator, of at least a first monomer selected among acrylamide and its derivatives, and of a second monomer, selected among trialkylammonium salts corresponding to the following formula (I): [H2C = C(R1) - (CH2)n - A - (CH2)n' - N<+> (R2) (R3) (R4)]X<-> wherein: R1 represents H or an alkyl group with 1 to 3 carbon atoms; R2, R3 and R4, identical or different, represent each an alkyl group with 1 to 3 carbon atoms; n and n' represent each, independently of one another, a non-null integer not more than 15; A represents a carboxyl or amide bivalent function; and X<-> represents a counter-ion. The invention also concerns a method for obtaining said copolymer, one use thereof for obtaining a textile support biocide by contact, and such a coated textile.
