<p>A video imaging apparatus for receiving, recording, and displaying images from a motor vehicle in which the video camera (14) rigidly connects to a support member (16) in a cavity (36) of a headrest (10) for a seat in the motor vehicle. A cover (35) detachably closes an opening (33) in the headrest (10) for insertion and removal of the video camera (14). An opening (40) in a surface of the headrest (10) allows light to reach the lens (41) of the video camera (14). A seat (122) can be selectively movable for access to a video recorder (124) mounted within the seat (122). The video recorder (124) communicates with the video camera (14) and an image display device (152).</p> |
