The supporting walls l(2,3) are each made up of superposed adjacently stacked modules (5) giving walls of 15-20 m height. The modules are cylindrical (5) and filled with sand or ballast or else angular modules made into a truss structure. The cylindrical modules are arranged on a U-shaped rail (6) as the adjoining modules bear on an H-rail arranged between this and the submounted row so the modules are grasped partly by the rail flanges. The walls (2,3) formed by the modules (5) are cross-braced by pressure bars (12) spread at wall length on the ground and above, with single modules 2.0-3.50 m in diameter, edge length 2.0-3.50 m and heights of this order. The walls should be backfilled and once dismantled are re-erected at the next site.
