<p>The invention concerns a demodulation method in a receiver in a digital transmission system comprising a step which consists in determining rectangular co-ordinates (I,Q) of the transmitted symbols. The invention is characterised in that it comprises the step which consists in determining the value of the angle (theta) corresponding to said rectangular co-ordinates (I,Q). In the examples implementing the method, said method is characterised in that it further comprises the following steps: determining a symbol value from an angle value, estimating a quality criterion of the received signal, correcting the frequency used for demodulating and/or detecting a synchronising word in a packet of transmitted symbols.</p> |
