A ball joint (51) connects a swinging shaft (25) and a bell-crank (41) provided on a change lever (14) for transmitting a swinging movement of the change lever (14) in a select direction to the bell-crank (41). The ball joint (51) includes a ball (53) having a pair of flat surfaces for defining a width smaller than the maximum diameter of the ball (53), a ball hole (52) which is formed at one end of the bell-crank (41), and in which the ball (53) is rotatably fitted, a shaft hole (54) which is formed in the ball (53) so as to open through both of the flat surfaces and in which the swinging shaft (25) of the change lever (14) is slidably fitted. A rotation of the ball (53) in the ball hole (52) permits a relative swinging movement between the swinging shaft (25) and the bell-crank (41). A sliding movement of the swinging shaft (25) in the shaft hole (54) permits an axial displacement of the swinging shaft (25) with respect to the bell-crank (41).
