<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mist detector for obtaining good detecting sensitivity by improving an S/N without being affected by a background light. SOLUTION: A laser beam 5 of a laser emitting unit 4 is scanned and illuminated to steam. The beam 5 is absorbed to the steam to generate a heating part 31 to be displayed in a two-dimensional manner. A heat ray from the part 31 of the steam to be detected is detected by an infrared camera 6 only at its wavelength by cutting off a laser wavelength of the beam 5 via a filter 7.</p> |
