PRODUCTION OF PARTIALLY HYDROPHILIC SHEET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a partially hydrophilic sheet in which whole layer of a thick hydrophilic porous sheet is divided to a hydrophilic part and a hydrophobic part at an arbitrary pattern in an excellent productivity. SOLUTION: This method for producing a partially hydrophilic sheet comprises processes containing following (1)-(3). (1) A process applying a coating liquid mainly containing a hydrophobic resin on a hydrophilic sheet by a silk screen printer having a device supplying a prescribed amount of the coating liquid on a plate at every strokes at a prescribed coating amount in a pattern- like while a spent amount of the coating liquid at every prescribed strokes. (2) A process pressing the coated face of the coating liquid applied in a pattern- like state and permeating the coating liquid into the whole layer of the hydrophilic porous sheet while keeping the pattern-like state. (3) A process fixing the coating liquid permeated in the whole layer of the hydrophilic porous sheet to the hydrophilic porous sheet by hot air drying.
