PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silane-crosslinkable polyolefin resin composition that gives molded products having excellent smoothness of the molded surfaces and excellent resistance to heat. SOLUTION: This polymer composition comprises (A) a base polymer (B) a carrier polymer A containing an organic unsaturated silane represented by the formula: RR'SiY2 (R is a monovalent olefinically unsaturated hydrocarbon group; Y is a hydrolyzable organic group; R' is a monovalent hydrocarbon group other than aliphatic unsaturated hydrocarbons or is equal to Y) and (C) a carrier polymer B containing a silanol condensation catalyst and an antioxidant. In this case the base polymer is singly a high-density or low-density polyethylene or a mixture of two or more kinds of polyethylene and has an average density of 0.926/cm3-0.935 g/cm3, a heat distortion rate after melt-mixing (according to JIS K 6723) of <=40%.
