PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure an oxygen consumption amount by one cell or by one ovum. SOLUTION: This oxygen consumption amount measuring apparatus is provide with a first substrate 1 on which a working electrode 1a and a reference electrode 1b are formed, a second substrate 2 on which a counter electrode is formed, and a spacer member 3 where a cylindrical solution accommodation space 3a is formed in the central part, and a solution supply groove 3b and a bubble discharging groove 3 which communicate with the solution accommodation space 3a are respectively formed on its lower and upper surfaces. Moreover, the first substrate 1, the spacer member 3, and the second substrate 2 are laminated in this order. Electric signals taken out from the working electrode 1a and the counter electrode are supplied to a signal processing part, and the change in the electric signals is monitored by the signal processing part to measure the consumption of DO in the solution. |
