PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inhibitor having inhibiting actions on the production of nitric oxide by making the inhibitor include a specific folkloric medicine in Indonesia or its extract as an active ingredient. SOLUTION: This inhibitor is obtained by including the following at least one or more kinds of plant bodies themselves used as folkloric medicines in Indonesia (botanical name, Indonesian name) or an extract of the plants as an active ingredient: Andrographis paniculata, Sambi, boto; Caesalpinia sappan, Kaya secang; Schima wallichii, Buah cangkok; Alstonia scholaris, Babakan pule; Graptophyllum pictum, Daum wungu; Usnea spp., Akar angin; Rheum officinale, Klmebak; Sindora javanica, Saparantu; Vitex trifolia, Legundi; Anacardium occidentale, Daun jambu mete; Gumnopetalum leucosticum, Duri kemarung; Equisetum debile, Greges otot; Kyllinga monocephala, Akar teki; Kyllinga vrevifolia, Akar teki; Ardisia fuliginosa, Ajag; Entada phaseoloides, Tariyu and Alyxia reinwardti, Kayu polo sari. |
