PRODUCTION OF PLANOGRAPHIC PRINTING PLATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing a planographic printing plate which allows the production of the planographic printing plate having high image quality with good productivity without the occurrence of fogging in spite of exposure with an inner drum type plate setter, is improved in handling workability under a yellow light, is directly writable and deals with a laser. SOLUTION: The planographic printing plate successively consisting of at least (A) an aluminum base and (B) a laser photosensitive recording layer is exposed by a plate setter of an inner drum type using a semiconductor laser beam from UV to visible light regions (360 to 450 nm).
