摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the cost-efficiency of memory mounting and to enable its extension with high cost-efficiency by outputting an address control signal for memory access of an IC simple substance corresponding to a designated area when an address produced by an address counter exists in the area. SOLUTION: An area designating means 19 designates a corresponding area to an IC simple substance on the memory map of a semiconductor memory consisting of plural kinds of semiconductor memory ICs in which the capacities of IC simple substances are different. An address counter 12 produces an address on the memory map and address generators 14 and 15 generate each address for memory access of each IC simple substance whose capacity is different according to the address. A control signal generation logic 18 outputs an address control signal for memory access of an IC simple substance corresponding to the area designated by the means 19 based on an address generated by the generators 14 and 15 when the address produced by the counter 12 exists in the area.
