PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital-to-analog converter which can obtain a small- distortion output waveform without increasing the operational speed of a component. SOLUTION: This D/A converter is constituted, including four data hold parts 10-1 to 10-4, four step function generation parts 11-1 to 11-4 an addition part 12, a D/A conversion part 14, two integrating process parts 16 and 18, and a timing control part 20. Four pieces of digital data, which are inputted in order are held by the respective data hold parts and the step function generation parts, generate step functions having values corresponding to the held data. The step functions generated by the respective step function generation parts are added by the addition part 12, a step-formed analog voltage corresponding to the addition value is generated by the D/A converter 14, and the two integrating processes parts 16 and 18 performs an integrating process twice for the composite waveform, thereby generating a continuous analog voltage having the inputted digital data connected.
