PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic circuit unit by which the adjusted position of a variable resistor is not charged by mistake, because an operator can hardly touch the variable resistor mounted on a circuit board after adjustment. SOLUTION: An electronic circuit unit is provided with a circuit board 31 on which a variable resistor 40 is mounted, a shield case 5 in which the circuit board 31 is housed, and a protective piece 11 which is formed by bending the upper end of a side plate 34 comprising the shield case 5 and covers the upper part of the variable resistor. A notch 12 or a hole in the protective piece 11 in which a tool for adjustment can be inserted is formed in a position opposed to an operation part 13 of the variable resistor 40.
