CREEP DISCHARGE ELECTRODE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a creep discharge electrode which can be fabricated at a low cost and can perform two-surface discharging without dropping the efficiency of the discharging process such as ozone generating efficiency. SOLUTION: A creep discharge electrode is furnished with a first 3 and a second electrode 4 on the sides of a plate-form dielectric member 2, wherein the two electrodes 3 and 4 have respective electrode shapes in strip shape and are arranged so that they partially face each other in the thickness direction with the dielectric member 2 interposed, and electric discharge is generated at an edge part 7 confronting the opposite electrode in the thickness direction through the dielectric member 2 at the peripheral edges of the two electrodes 3 and 4.
