PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel plate which is superior in electromagnetic shielding properties and vibration damping properties and applicable to a case material, which is capable of coping with noise and electromagnetic interference. SOLUTION: This vibration-damping steel plate is a resin-bonded laminated vibration-damping steel plate, consisting of two steel plates which are laminated into one piece with resin, where at least one of the steel plates is an austenite stainless steel. An austenite stainless steel plate is provided to a joint, whereby electromagnetic waves are restrained from leaking out of the joint. The other steel plate is formed of ferrite stainless steel, whereby the vibration-damping steel plate can be enhanced in shielding properties with respect to a magnetic flux which penetrates through the plate.
