PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly discriminate different kinds of cartridge having approximately same diameters by providing first parallel surface cut sections at the positions of a first case corresponding to the positions in a second case of second parallel surface cut sections. SOLUTION: In addition to cut sections 20 and 20b, openings are made for the surfaces, that are parallel to the disk surface of a disk cartridge 100, from both surfaces as a discrimination erroneous insertion preventing means in a tray loading system and cut sections 302a, and 302b, which go through in a thickness direction, are provided corresponding to the sections 20a and 20b on both sides of the sections above in a left and right symmetrical manner. On a CD caddie, no cut section, which opens a surface parallel to a disk surface exists. If the disk cartridge formed in the manner described above is loaded into a disk device, the two projecting sections provided on a tray match with the sections 302a and 302b provided on the cartridge 100 in terms of the position and the shape and the projecting sections engage with the sections 302a and 302b, the cartridge is lowered to the lowest section of the tray and the loading is completed.
