PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a holding device superior in productivity with a simple structure and to surely keep the housing state of a drawer. SOLUTION: A slide rail is provided with a fixed side rail 1 having an almost C-shape in cross section, a mobile side rail 2 having an almost C-shape in cross section, which is arranged to face the fixed side rail 1, an intermediate rail 3 which is inserted between the both rails 1 and 2 and two ball holding plates which freely rotatably hold a ball between the both upper and lower bent edges of the rails 1 and 2 and the both upper and lower bent edges of the intermediate rail 3. In the slide rail, a fixed side storage time stopper 13 which is formed by bending the storage side end part of a fixed side rail substrate is provided with a restitution preventing member 5 which is projected in the direction of the mobile side rail 2 and also at the mobile side, is provided with a vertical guide projecting piece 55 whose upper and lower end parts are mutually separated and a vertical lock projecting part 56 whose upper and lower end parts are mutually approaching and is formed of an elastic material. A mobile side mobile-time stopper 24 which is projected in the direction of the fixed side rail 1 and whose vertical dimension is a little larger than the dimension with the lock projecting part is disposed in the storage side end part of a mobile side rail substrate 22.
