<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device with a wide visual angle characteristic, to prevent it from coloring due to the visual angles, and also to prevent defective display domains from being caused by panel pressure at the time of voltage impression. SOLUTION: On an array substrate 20 having an approximately chevron-like bent common electrode wiring 13 and a pixel electrode wiring 14, a projection 18 is provided for forming a panel gap across a counter substrate 21. Thus, in spite of the structure forming the approximately chevron shape of electrode for compensating coloring caused by visual angles, it is possible to make a numerical aperture high, as a result, panel transmittance is high and bright display is possible and further, it is possible to easily achieve a liquid crystal display device excellent in the visual angle characteristic without disorder of alignment caused by panel pressure.</p> |
