The lawn airing device has a motor propelled blade carrying shaft (3), adjustable in height and accommodated in a housing (1), which can be synchronized with the two wheels (2) at a vertical level. The horizontal power take off (9) can be joined manually by a belt drive (10) to the belt drive wheel (11) of the blade carrying shaft. When driven in curves across the lawn, the blades (3a,3b,3c,3d) at the inside of the curve do not cause an irregular pattern.
